Brief history. The Upper-Room Fellowship was founded in January 1999 by David Lathrop, David, and Beckie Gould and others as The Fisher's Net. with a vision to reach out to the local area with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We began meeting in the Gould's home in Marysville, WA; We then shortly moved to an Upper-Room in Arlington, WA where we became The Fisher's Net Upper-Room. In 2000 the church was reorganised as The Upper-Room Fellowship and was chartered with what is now Freedom Covenant Global Ministries; after a year in Arlington the church moved to Marysville, for 3 Years, following three years the church was located in Tulalip, we then moved for 3 years in Everett on Hoyt Ave. The church than moved to its current location.

OUR MISSION and PURPOSE

The mission of The Upper-Room Fellowship is to serve as an instrument of the Church to preach and teach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God in the entire world, to make disciples in all nations, and to care for those disciples.

The specific and primary purpose of The Upper-Room Fellowship, as nearly as possible, is to represent in all detail the Body of Christ as described in the Word of God, recognizing the principles inherent in that Body as also inherent in The Upper-Room Fellowship; particularly the principles of Christian unity, cooperation, and service. The Upper-Room Fellowship shall maintain conditions under which it can, as a chartered affiliate of FCGM, demonstrate these principles and subsequent development.

The further purposes/prerogatives for which The Upper-Room Fellowship operates are:
1. To establish and promote Scriptural teachings and conduct within this body of Believers,
2. To encourage and promote the evangelization of cities, towns, counties, state, nation, and communities as the Holy Ghost leads,
3. To provide a basis of fellowship among all Christians, especially those of like faith.
4. To Support, as the Lord provides to maintain such institutions, including, but not limited to, Churches, Missions, Schools, Colleges, Counseling Centers, Evangelistic and/or other Ministries, along with any departments of same, as may be necessary for the propagation of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and the work of The Upper-Room Fellowship.

The Upper-Room Fellowship is a Chartered affiliate of Freedom Covenant Global Ministries, and as such is under the covering of FCGM.

FCGM is organized exclusively for religious, charitable, and educational purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code. All funds, whether income or principal, and whether acquired by gift, contribution, or otherwise, shall be devoted to said purposes.
